Two Months Exactly...and oh-so-sweet!

I am really in love with the two/three month photo sessions. The kiddos are still little and squishy but they smile and engage you and it's totally cute, little miss "A" was such a doll and, even when she got sleepy, was so quick to sleep. Mom and Dad definitely have the "five 'S's" down- nice job!

Beatiful 'C' Family- One Year Later

Some of you might remember this family from a year ago, when they're youngest was just born; here's a photo of little "C" at 2 weeks old:

Well, here she is now with her big sister:

And here are some more images from our session in the park- they turned out so well I had a hard time picking just a few!

It's beginning to (finally) look like spring

Well, we took the opportunity with this brave mama to take some pregnancy photos outdoors and the photos turned out fantastic! I did manage to drop my flash in the water and the first picture is taken right after I tell my wonderful assistant Taylor that if this flash works after having pulled it out of the pond- she gets a bonus.... Well, it fired once and then never again.... or so I thought until I gave it a week to dry out and now it seems to be as good as new! So, thank you SO MUCH wonderful "A" for your outgoing attitude and being willing to do what it took to get the shot. Including, but not limited to, standing in a freezing stream of water, sitting in a freezing stream of water, baring all in a public garden, and dealing with a photographer who just dropped her flash in the water!

4 months old- and still growing

I swear Baby "S" grew noticeably in the week between our photo and proofing sessions so I begged him to stop growing, I don't think it will work but I bet he'll just keep getting better! Thanks also to my photographer buddy Bridget for coming over to help with a new lighting technique, seen here in the first photo below:

Little Baby F from the Inside

This was a pre-Father's Day surprise for soon-to-be Dad- J. They let me play around with some new lighting techniques as well as the turqoise door I got last weekend; I was shocked at how 'real' the door looks there, it's just propped up in an existing breezeway of my in-home studio. Thanks J and L for sharing your beautiful selves with us... can't wait to see that little boy in a few months!

Trying out the New, Old Door

I got it in my head that I needed a cool old door with a fun color to do my infant/newborn sessions and I was actually able to prop it in an opening in my house this weekend for a pregnancy session that turned out fun to. Here's little T helping me try out my new door as well as a new lighting technique, more photos of the pregnancy session to follow!
